"Harry Potter" fans may have to wait just a bit longer for the latest instalment of the "Potter" film franchise, after Warner Bros announced the release date for "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" had been moved to July 2009.
The change was reportedly called on by Warner Bros in order to strengthen its US summer movie release schedule.
"We know the summer season is an ideal window for a family release, as proven by the success of our last "Harry Potter" film, which is the second-highest grossing film in the franchise, behind only the first instalment," said Warner Bros president Alan Horn.
